Abstract

This compilation of research focuses on the evolving field of combined organ transplantation, examining clinical outcomes across various multi-organ procedures. Studies detail advancements in surgical techniques, immunosuppression, patient selection, and management of comorbidities, leading to improved survival rates and graft function. Specific focus is given to simultaneous liverkidney, heart-lung, pancreas-kidney, liver-small bowel, heart-kidney, lung-liver, heart-esophagus, and heart-liver transplantations, showcasing their growing success and benefits for patients with complex end-stage organ diseases.
