Abstract
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a cornerstone therapy for COPD, improving exercise tolerance, dyspnea, and quality of life. Evidence supports its efficacy, with high-intensity interval training showing promise. Adaptations during the pandemic, such as telehealth, have proven feasible. Early intervention post-exacerbation, self-management support, and technological integration enhance outcomes. Nutritional and psychological support are crucial. Long-term benefits include sustained exercise capacity and reduced hospitalizations. Pulmonary rehabilitation is a continuum of care promoting functional independence and well-being.
