Abstract

Pulmonary rehabilitation is crucial for COVID-19 survivors, addressing persistent respiratory symptoms, deconditioning, and reduced quality of life. Programs integrate exercise, education, and psychological support, with tailored interventions showing significant benefits. Research confirms improvements in exercise capacity, reduced dyspnea, and enhanced functional status. Home-based and inspiratory muscle training are effective modalities. Long-term studies demonstrate sustained positive outcomes. Physiotherapists are central to program delivery, emphasizing individualized care and patient education.

Introduction

 

Cardiac rehabilitation enhances exercise capacity and life quality for Heart Failure patients with preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) [1].

Pulmonary rehabilitation techniques further improve these outcomes, with lung function assessments identifying suitable candidates for interventions [1].

Pulmonary rehabilitation, utilizing breathing exercises and inspiratory muscle training, effectively alleviates dyspnea and improves lung function in individuals with chronic respiratory diseases [2].
