Abstract

This collection of research highlights acupuncture as a safe and effective non-pharmacological treatment for various chronic pain conditions. Evidence confirms its efficacy in reducing pain from musculoskeletal issues, headaches, osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, cancer, and fibromyalgia. It also serves as a beneficial intervention for postoperative pain in children and a preventive measure for migraines. Studies explore its neural mechanisms, demonstrating modulation of pain pathways. The consistent findings advocate for integrating acupuncture into comprehensive pain management strategies, improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
