Abstract

This compilation examines critical aspects of toxicology and poisoning management, focusing on diverse substances and scenarios. It covers opioid and synthetic cannabinoid overdoses, acetaminophen toxicity, organophosphate poisoning, and heavy metal exposure. Key themes include emergency department interventions, diagnostic challenges, treatment protocols, and public health implications. Additionally, the collection addresses snakebite envenoming, alcohol intoxication, plant poisonings, carbon monoxide exposure, and medication errors, offering updated clinical guidance and preventive strategies to improve patient safety and outcomes across various toxicological emergencies.
