Abstract

This compilation of studies delves into advanced composting technologies for efficient organic waste management. It reviews innovative methods focusing on microbial enhancement, precise process control via sensors, and specific techniques like vermicom posting and biochar amendment. The integration of anaerobic digestion with composting for comprehensive waste treatment and the exploration of process intensification strategies are also covered. These research efforts aim to optimize decomposition rates, improve compost quality, and enhance resource recovery, contributing to more sustainable waste management practices.
