Abstract

This compilation of research explores recent advancements in cross-sectional imaging techniques, including CT and MRI. It covers innovations such as quantitative imaging, AI integration, and novel contrast agents, focusing on their impact on diagnostic accuracy and patient management. Specific applications discussed include dual-energy CT for pulmonary embolism, AI in cardiac MRI, diffusion-weighted imaging in oncology, contrast-enhanced ultrasound for liver lesions, PET/CT in cancer staging, radiomics for outcome prediction, MRI in inflammatory bowel disease, spectral CT for material characterization, and image-guided interventional radiology. The articles collectively demonstrate the evolving capabilities of medical imaging in providing more precise and personalized healthcare.
