Abstract
This compilation reviews recent advancements in industrial pigments, covering synthesis, characterization, and applications in
coatings, plastics, and textiles. It highlights novel inorganic and organic pigments, including bismuth vanadate and bio-pigments,
alongside functional materials like graphene oxide and phosphorescent emitters for OLEDs. Research addresses sustainability, per
formance enhancements like photostability and rheology control, and emerging applications in smart textiles and printing inks. En
vironmental and toxicity assessments are also discussed, emphasizing the trend towards safer, eco-friendly alternatives.
