Abstract
This research focuses on advancing sustainable practices in industrial chemistry. Key areas include green chemistry principles
for waste reduction and energy efficiency, biodegradable polymers for sustainable packaging, and solventless synthesis methods like
mechanochemistry. Biocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, and the integration of renewable energy sources are explored as environ
mentally beneficial approaches. The use of supercritical fluids and biomass-derived solvents as greener alternatives is also discussed,
alongside the importance of atom economy and lifecycle assessment for evaluating environmental performance.
