Abstract
This compilation explores recent innovations in industrial chemical sensing, focusing on advancements in sensor materials,
miniaturization, and integration with emerging technologies like IoT and AI. Research covers enhanced detection capabilities for
volatile organic compounds, toxic gases, corrosive chemicals, and combustible gases, alongside specialized applications such as
high-temperature sensing and wastewater analysis. The development of highly selective and responsive sensors using nanomaterials,
metal-oxide semiconductors, fiber optics, microfluidics, and plasmonic nanoparticles is detailed, aiming to improve industrial process
monitoring, safety, and efficiency.
