Abstract
This compilation reviews recent advancements in musculoskeletal imaging for sports injuries, emphasizing MRI and ultrasound. It covers innovative techniques, AI integration for improved diagnosis, and the role of imaging in return-to-play decisions. Specific injuries like cartilage damage, rotator cuff tears, stress fractures, hamstring strains, and ACL injuries are addressed. The importance of standardized reporting, pediatric imaging considerations, and the application of dual-energy CT are also discussed, highlighting the evolving landscape of sports injury diagnostics.
