Abstract
This compilation of articles explores pivotal advancements in chemical manufacturing, addressing themes of efficiency, sustain
ability, and safety. It delves into the application of advanced process control, Industry 4.0 technologies, and artificial intelligence for
operational optimization and predictive maintenance. The importance of sustainable practices, including green chemistry and circu
lar economy principles, is highlighted. Modular design for enhanced flexibility, computational modeling for reactor optimization,
and digitalization of supply chains are also discussed. Furthermore, the integration of advanced materials, safety engineering, and
