Abstract
This review explores current advancements in vascular imaging techniques. It covers CT angiography, MR angiography, duplex ultrasound, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound, 4D flow MRI, digital subtraction angiography, and photon-counting CT. Applications range from diagnosing peripheral arterial disease and deep vein thrombosis to evaluating intracranial aneurysms, vascular malformations, traumatic aortic injuries, and venous insufficiency. The integration of artificial intelligence and the potential of photon-counting CT are also discussed, underscoring the evolving landscape of vascular diagnostics and interventional planning.
