Abstract
This compilation of research reviews advancements in radiation dose reduction across various medical imaging modalities. It highlights the efficacy of iterative reconstruction techniques, dual-energy CT, photon-counting detector CT, and artificial intelligence in lowering radiation exposure while preserving diagnostic image quality. Strategies for interventional radiology, pediatric CT, and fluoroscopy are discussed, alongside the importance of automatic exposure control and diagnostic reference levels. The overall focus is on optimizing radiation safety through technological innovation and protocol refinement.
