Abstract
Early detection of ovarian cancer remains challenging due to current screening method limitations and non-specific symptoms,
leading to diagnostic delays and poorer survival. Recent research focuses on novel biomarkers like cell-free DNA methylation and
multimodal screening strategies, enhancing predictive performance for early-stage disease. Clinical validation of multi-biomarker
panels improves diagnostic accuracy, supporting timely intervention. Studies also emphasize streamlined care pathways and opti
mized surgical timing to improve patient outcomes. The collective efforts aim for more effective, non-invasive detection tools and
personalized risk assessment to significantly improve survival rates.
