Abstract
This compilation of research delves into the latest advancements and critical safety aspects of contrast media in radiology. It covers innovations in CT, MRI, and ultrasound contrast agents, emphasizing enhanced safety and efficacy. Studies examine gadolinium retention in the brain, prevention of contrast-induced nephropathy, and the expanding role of ultrasound contrast agents. The research also addresses hypersensitivity reactions, the benefits of newer macrocyclic GBCAs, and the development of targeted and dualmodality contrast agents. Pediatric applications and the future of integrated imaging are also discussed, highlighting the continuous evolution of contrast media.
