Abstract
This review explores the multifaceted applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in physiotherapy, highlighting its potential to rev
olutionize patient care and rehabilitation. AI technologies are enabling personalized exercise regimens, providing real-time feedback
on movement, and offering objective progress monitoring. The integration of AI with virtual reality and wearable sensors enhances
rehabilitation outcomes for various conditions. AI also aids in diagnosis, treatment planning, and the development of intelligent
assistive devices. Furthermore, AI contributes to physiotherapy education and predictive analytics for risk stratification. Ethical
considerations and data privacy are paramount for the responsible implementation of AI in this field.
