Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming radiology, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency through machine learning. Deep learning algorithms show remarkable performance in image analysis for lesion detection, segmentation, and classification across various modalities. AI applications are emerging in pulmonary nodule detection, mammography, neuroimaging, and musculoskeletal radiology. It also optimizes departmental operations and aids precision medicine through radiomics. Ethical considerations, regulatory challenges, and robust validation are critical for successful integration into clinical practice.
