Abstract
This compilation reviews various exercise interventions aimed at improving balance and reducing fall risk in older adults. Studies highlight the importance of sensory integration, motor control, and cognitive function. Approaches include traditional balance training, Tai Chi, home-based programs, virtual reality, multimodal exercises, and community-based initiatives. Evidence from systematic reviews and meta-analyses supports exercise as a key strategy for enhancing functional mobility and preventing falls in the geriatric population.
