Abstract
This review synthesizes research on the biomechanical factors influencing sports injuries. It examines aberrant movement patterns, muscle strength, neuromuscular control, footwear and surface interactions, landing mechanics, eccentric loading, and specific joint dynamics in athletes. Understanding these factors is crucial for developing effective injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies in physiotherapy, with particular attention paid to adolescent athletes and specialized sports like baseball pitching.
