Abstract
This compilation of studies explores the resurgence and scientific validation of traditional medicine, with a focus on its application in managing inflammatory conditions and cancer. Research from Ethiopia and other regions highlights the identification of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants exhibiting anti-inflammatory and cytotoxic activities. The work underscores the impor
tance of ethnobotanical knowledge, rigorous scientific evaluation, and the integration of traditional practices with modern healthcare, particularly in resource-limited settings, to advance therapeutic strategies.
