Abstract
Cardiac rehabilitation for the elderly is critical for improving functional capacity and reducing cardiovascular events. Age-related changes necessitate personalized exercise and management of comorbidities like hypertension and diabetes. Frailty is a key predictor of adverse outcomes, requiring early intervention. Telehealth offers accessible rehabilitation, while supervised exercise, including aerobic and resistance training, is vital for fitness and independence. Psychosocial support, nutrition, and medication adherence are also crucial for optimal outcomes and sustained lifestyle changes.
