Abstract
Cardiac surgery rehabilitation is vital for patient recovery, focusing on early mobilization, exercise, and risk factor management to enhance functional capacity and reduce readmissions. This multidisciplinary approach addresses physical and psychological needs. Home-based programs increase accessibility, while early post-operative mobilization prevents complications. Nutritional support and supervised exercise programs are essential. Telehealth is enhancing engagement, and managing psychological impacts like anxiety is important. Strategies to address social determinants and promote long-term adherence to lifestyle changes are crucial for sustained patient outcomes.
