Abstract
This compilation reviews recent progress in diagnosing and managing central nervous system infections. It highlights novel
diagnostic tools, therapeutic strategies, and an understanding of neuroinflammation. Challenges like antimicrobial resistance and
prion diseases are discussed, alongside the utility of neuroimaging and CSF biomarkers. Neurological complications of COVID-19
and advancements in vaccine development are also covered, emphasizing early detection and effective treatment.
