Abstract
This research compiles studies on energy solutions for cold climates. It examines geothermal heatpumps, biomassdistrict heating,
advanced insulation, small modular reactors, battery storage, smart building systems, wind energy with de-icing, solar thermal, phase
change materials, and hydrogen fuel cells. The focus is on enhancing reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in challenging cold
environments, addressing issues like energy storage, grid stability, and reducing heating demand.
