Abstract
Palliative care enhances the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. Early integration improves outcomes and reduces hospitalizations. Effective communication and shared decision-making are essential. Pain management, psychological support, and advance care planning are also crucial. Hospice care offers comprehensive support, while ethical considerations guide clinical practice.
