Abstract
This review synthesizes current trends and future directions in dysphagia management. It highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis through instrumental assessments like VFSS and FEES, alongside personalized treatment strategies including swallowing maneuvers, dietary modifications using the IDDSI framework, and adjunctive therapies such as NMES. The impact of dysphagia on quality of life and the role of telehealth and AI are discussed. A multidisciplinary approach with patient education and selfmanagement is emphasized for optimal outcomes.
