Abstract
This collection of research highlights the critical importance of comprehensive tobacco control in cancer prevention. Studies address legislative measures, the impact of plain packaging, economic strategies like taxation, the challenges posed by emerging tobacco products, the dangers of secondhand smoke, the role of media campaigns, the effectiveness of cessation programs, and the specific risks associated with smokeless tobacco. Collectively, these findings emphasize that a multi-faceted, policy-driven approach is essential to reduce tobacco consumption and its devastating link to cancer.
