Abstract
This research compilation addresses the critical challenges and innovative solutions surrounding computational science archives.
It covers data preservation, accessibility, and integrity, exploring advancements in metadata, machine learning for discoverability,
blockchain for provenance, anddataharmonizationforinteroperability. Ethical data management, immersive visualization, long-term
sustainability, semantic enrichment via ontologies, and decentralized access control are also detailed. The integration of archives with
research infrastructure is highlighted as a means to accelerate scientific discovery, underscoring the evolving landscape of scientific
data management.
