Abstract
This compilation of research covers diverse strategies for hydrogen production, emphasizing advancements in electrocatalysis,
renewableenergyintegration, andalternative production methods. Keytechnologiesreviewedincludenovelelectrocatalystsforwater
splitting, proton exchange membrane (PEM) and solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOECs), photocatalytic water splitting, biomass
conversion, and microbial electrolysis cells (MECs). The work also addresses critical aspects such as hydrogen storage and the
economic viability of green hydrogen production, aiming to foster sustainable hydrogen energy solutions.
