Abstract
This review synthesizes evidence on dietary interventions for cancer prevention. Key strategies include consuming nutrient-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, while limiting processed meats and sugar-sweetened beverages. Phytochemicals, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants play crucial roles in mitigating cancer risk. The Mediterranean diet is highlighted for its protective effects. Emerging research points to the influence of the gut microbiome and compounds like curcumin. Dietary guidance emphasizes whole foods for synergistic benefits and disease risk reduction.
