Abstract
Physical activity is strongly associated with a reduced risk of developing multiple cancer types, including colon, breast, and endometrial cancers. Mechanisms include hormonal regulation, reduced inflammation, improved immunity, and better weight management. Public health guidelines recommend regular moderate-to-vigorous aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities for cancer prevention. Conversely, sedentary behavior is linked to increased cancer risk.
