Abstract
This review synthesizes current research on advancements in foot and ankle surgery, highlighting minimally invasive techniques,
patient-specific instrumentation, and regenerative medicine for conditions like osteoarthritis and deformities. It discusses the appli
cation of these technologies in total ankle arthroplasty and sports injury management. The role of platelet-rich plasma for plantar
fasciitis, management of complex trauma, and hallux valgus are explored. Considerations for diabetic foot surgery and the compara
tive efficacy of total ankle arthroplasty versus arthrodesis are also presented, emphasizing precision and personalized approaches in
modern orthopedic care.
