Abstract
This collection of research explores the multifaceted aspects of foot biomechanics, from fundamental gait analysis and injury
prevention to the management of specific conditions like diabetic foot and ankle sprains. The influence of orthotics, footwear, aging,
and foot posture on biomechanical function and associated risks are examined. Key areas include the impact of foot structure on
locomotion, the role of neuromechanical coupling in balance, and the foot’s contribution to spinal loading. The findings underscore
the foot’s critical role in overall musculoskeletal health and functional mobility.
