Abstract
This collection of research highlights the diverse and evolving applications of functional imaging techniques in medicine. Functional MRI, PET, DTI, ASL, fNIRS, QSM, and fUS are presented as advanced tools for assessing treatment response, predicting outcomes, and understanding disease pathologies in neurological disorders, depression, TBI, pulmonary fibrosis, stroke, oncology, and neurodegeneration. These modalities offer sensitive, non-invasive insights into brain function and structure, paving the way for personalized medicine and improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
