Abstract
Green biotechnology is driving sustainable environmental management via microbial metabolic potential, bioremediation, and bio-based materials. Key applications include enzymatic degradation of pollutants, bioproduction of biofuels and chemicals using engineered microbes and synthetic biology, and advancements in agricultural practices and algal biotechnology. Nanobiotechnology and extremophile enzymes further contribute to innovative environmental solutions and industrial processes.
