Abstract
This study examines the diverse benefits of green roofs in urban settings. Green roofs contribute to mitigating urban heat islands [1], managing stormwater [2], enhancing biodiversity [3], and providing economic advantages [4]. Additionally, they improve air quality [5], regulate building temperatures [6], and offer social benefits [7]. Effective implementation depends on design considerations [8], supportive policies [9], and climate-specific adaptation strategies [10].
