Abstract
This review synthesizes research on foot biomechanics, covering its foundational role in gait and lower limb function. It examines
factors influencing foot biomechanics, including footwear, aging, pronation, and foot posture, and their impact on musculoskeletal
health and injury risk. The study also explores biomechanical outcomes of surgical interventions and orthotic treatments, alongside
the application of computational modeling for analysis. The findings underscore the importance of understanding foot biomechanics
for injury prevention, performance optimization, and clinical management.
