Abstract
Image-guided biopsy techniques, employing modalities like ultrasound, CT, and MRI, significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy and minimize invasiveness. These methods facilitate precise needle placement for tissue sampling, crucial for conditions like cancer, enabling tailored treatments. Innovations in ultrasound, CT, MRI, and robotic systems further refine accuracy and safety. Navigational bronchoscopy aids in lung nodule biopsy, and interventional radiology plays a central role. Fiducial marker placement is vital for radiotherapy. Patient selection and safety are paramount for successful procedures
