Abstract
This compilation of research highlights advancements in fertilizer technology for sustainable agriculture. It examines slow
release formulations using biodegradable polymers and zeolites, nano-encapsulation of phosphate fertilizers, bio-fertilizers including
microbial inoculants and liquid formulations, and optimized granulation techniques. The study also explores waste valorization into
organic fertilizers, the efficacy of nitrification inhibitors, and the benefits of humic substances. The overarching goal is to improve
nutrient use efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance crop productivity.
