Abstract
Musculoskeletal load management is critical for athletes, focusing on injury prevention and performance optimization. It involves
monitoring training loads, recovery, and individual factors. Neuromuscular fatigue, sleep, nutrition, and psychological well-being
are key influences. Technological advancements aid in load monitoring. Personalized strategies are essential, alongside a balanced
stress-recovery cycle and careful management of acute versus chronic workloads. Effective load management promotes adaptation
and minimizes overtraining.
