Abstract
This review synthesizes current strategies in lung cancer prevention, emphasizing public health initiatives, smoking cessation, and early detection. It highlights the impact of policy changes on tobacco use and the importance of personalized approaches considering genetic and environmental factors. The efficacy of screening programs like LDCT for high-risk populations is discussed, alongside challenges and the integration of cessation support. Community-based education and technological advancements like AI are explored for their role in risk prediction and awareness. Global perspectives and occupational health are also addressed, advocating for a comprehensive, multi-pronged strategy involving various stakeholders to reduce lung cancer incidence and mortality.
