Abstract
This compilation examines the crucial role of medical imaging in geriatric care, focusing on age-related conditions such as osteoporosis, sarcopenia, cognitive decline, dementia, cardiovascular disease, and falls. It reviews advanced imaging modalities including low-dose CT, MRI, and dual-energy CT, alongside the burgeoning impact of AI in diagnostic interpretation. The data highlights tailored imaging approaches for specific conditions and populations to enhance diagnostic accuracy and guide therapeutic interventions, ultimately aiming to improve the health and well-being of older adults.
