This shift moves beyond traditional histology to uncover genetic underpinnings, assess the tumor microenviron ment, and identify critical biomarkers. Advances in digital pathology and neuropathology, alongside refined staging systems, provide comprehensive insights. These innovations collectively improve early detection, prognostic assessment, and treatment stratification, paving the way for more effective and individualized patient management in oncology.
