Abstract

Multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) is a cornerstone in modern prostate cancer diagnostics, enhancing detection, staging, and guiding biopsies. This review covers key mpMRI sequences like DWI and DCE-MRI, standardized reporting (PI-RADS), and emerging AI applications. It also discusses MRI-guided biopsies, challenges in detecting specific tumor types, advanced techniques (MRS, DTI), and its role in active surveillance. The content emphasizes improved accuracy and clinical decision-making in prostate cancer management
