Key issues include patient safety, data privacy, informed consent, and confidentiality, especially in acute care and disaster settings. Specific roles like forensic nursing demand unique legal and ethical expertise. Consistent education, clear guidelines, and robust institutional support, including Clinical Ethics Committees (CECs), are crucial for nurses to uphold patient rights, ensure compliance, and safeguard their professional standing in an evolving healthcare landscape.
