Abstract
Obesity is a major global challenge that significantly elevates cancer risk through chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and altered cellular signaling. Weight management via diet and exercise is crucial for preventing obesity-related cancers. The endocrine system and adipose tissue contribute to a pro-tumorigenic environment. Dietary patterns and physical activity play vital roles in prevention. Visceral adiposity and gut microbiome dysbiosis are linked to increased cancer risk. Molecular pathways like mTOR and Wnt are implicated, offering targets for intervention. Public health strategies are essential to address the rising burden of obesity-associated cancers.
