Abstract
Orthopedic manual therapy is a hands-on approach used by physiotherapists to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions. It
aims to restore joint mobility, reduce pain, and improve function, with evidence supporting its use in conditions like low back pain,
neck pain, and osteoarthritis. The therapy also influences central pain processing and benefits from combination with exercise. Precise
application requires anatomical and biomechanical knowledge, and the patient-therapist relationship is significant. Evidence-based
guidelines are essential for standardization and optimal outcomes.
