Abstract
Pain neuroscience education (PNE) is a therapeutic strategy that educates individuals about the neurobiology of pain to decrease
fear, anxiety, and disability in chronic pain. By reframing pain and promoting a biopsychosocial understanding, PNE shifts patients’
beliefs, leading to improvedpainintensity, function, and quality of life. It is adaptable to various delivery methods andenhancesactive
engagement in rehabilitation. Studies demonstrate PNE’s effectiveness in reducing psychological distress and improving outcomes
across different chronic pain conditions.
