Abstract

This compilation of research reviews diagnostic and treatment strategies for various pediatric foot and ankle deformities. It
addresses conditions such as flatfoot, intoeing, toe walking, congenital vertical talus, clubfoot, heel pain, equinovarus deformities,
tarsal coalition, and adolescent hallux valgus. The focus is on early intervention and the efficacy of conservative management
including physical therapy and orthotics, with surgical options discussed for complex cases. The Ponseti method for clubfoot and
night splinting for equinovarus deformities are highlighted. Accurate diagnosis via radiographic and advanced imaging is stressed.
The evidence supports a multidisciplinary approach for optimal outcomes.
